This 5 piece collection was created for the African American Textile Society’s 20th design showcase at NC State. The inspiration came from free flowing and organic textures. The original textile was created using Kaledo Print software by using motifs taken from my paintings and printed on cotton sateen fabric. All patterns were created by hand and the garments were constructed with industrial interlock sewing machines and sergers.
